Brick2 SDR is a continuation of the first version of the transceiver Brick SDR ie. Hermes-Lite EU1SW with minor improvements and changes. Developed by special order. Has a main board, on which all elements are located, such as LNA, Step ATT 0-30 dB, including power amplifier and 7 LPF.

The power amplifier is made according to a push-pull scheme on a pair of RD16HHF. The output power on 160-10m 10-15 watts, 6m 8-10 watts.

Can be used up to 4 rigs in one network.

The SW is still under development. There are some functions of controlling externals PA:

  • Serial interface for Hardrock-50 TTL 3.3V (need tested).
  • Band voltage for Xiegu XPA125B.
  • Decimal (BCD) as Yaesu, Elecraft.

Basic specifications

  • 2 Receivers 1 Transmitter
  • Frequency range RX/TX 100 kHz – 61 MHz (MARS) without restrictions in hardware
  • Integrated Step Attenuator 0-30 dB, LNA, 7 LPF filters
  • Separate Input for Pure Signal

  1. Just wondering and you you have probably been asked a lot , will your unit have
an options for pure signal ? If so when would it be available ?
    Thanks
    Steve

  2. BRICK2 SDR is a cracking little SDR, i would recommend anyone thinking of getting into SDR, get on purchased.
